The present invention belonging to the technical field of internet provides a content item display system, a method and a device. The system comprises: a video playing terminal, for acquiring a video and playing the same; a content item display client, for transmitting a content item acquisition request which is used for requesting acquisition of content items related to the video being played by the video playing terminal; a content item handling platform, for determining a current playing moment when the video playing terminal plays the video, selecting those, having the marked moment closest to the current playing moment, from each content item corresponding to the video, and pushing the selected content items to the content item display client; and the content item display client, further for displaying the received content items. The present invention solves the problem that the video being played needs to be paused since the content items directly inserted into the video solely occupy the screen of the video player terminal for being played; and achieves the effect that the content items corresponding to the video can be simultaneously displayed during video playing. |
