A stabilized platform (1), a follow-up control system thereof and a method therefor. The method comprises: after starting the stabilized platform (1), detecting whether the stabilized platform (1) is in a follow-up attitude; if yes, according to the movement of the stabilized platform (1), obtaining a current position information of a horizontal roll shaft (12) of the stabilized platform (1) in real time, and by calculation, obtaining a relative position information corresponding to the follow-up attitude; making the horizontal roll shaft (12) of the stabilized platform (1) to rotate, so as to perform automatic follow-up of the horizontal roll shaft (12), until returning to the follow-up attitude. The stabilized platform follow-up control method could conveniently make a load (14) carried by the stabilized platform (1) to perform upward or downward follow-up photography. |
