PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a pressing member from being deformed by the movement of a pressing part.SOLUTION: A fixing device 36 includes a pressing part 76 provided facing a heating part 66. The pressing part 76 includes: an endless belt-like body 72 rotated to be driven along the rotation of the heating part 66; a holding body 100 for holding the endless belt-like body 72 so as to be travelable; a pushing area formation part 104 provided on the holding body 100; and a pressing member 110 provided in the upper stream side of the pushing area formation part 104 of the rotation direction of the endless belt-like body 72 of the holding body 100 which is the pressing member 110 formed by bending a metallic plate body along the longitudinal direction. A position at which a pushing area 102 is formed by both of the pushing area formation part 104 and the pressing member 110 with respect to the heating part 66 and a position at which a pushing area 102 is formed by the pressing member 110 alone are made movable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
