PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a configuration using an insulation-type DCDC converter capable of operating in four quadrants.SOLUTION: A series compensation power transmission system comprises a converter 13 including: a DC input/output terminal P1 and a DC input/output terminal P2 connected to a positive side output terminal of a DC voltage source 11 and a negative side output terminal of the DC voltage source 11, respectively; a DC input/output terminal Q2 connected to the positive side output terminal of the DC voltage source 11; and a DC input/output terminal Q1 connected to a positive side output terminal of a DC voltage source 12. The converter 13 is configured as a converter comprising: a power conversion unit 21 for performing mutual power conversion between DC V1 between the DC input/output terminals P1, P2 and AC V3 between AC input/output terminals A1, A2; a power conversion unit 22 that includes bidirectional switches 41 to 44 connected in a full bridge form to perform mutual power conversion between DC V2 between the DC input/output terminals Q1, Q2 and AC V4 between AC input/output terminals B1, B2; and an isolation transformer 23 disposed between the AC input/output terminals A1, A2 and the AC input/output terminals B1, B2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
