PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric transducer that is excellent in thermoelectric conversion performance and also excellent in resistance to bending.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric transducer includes a surface-treated substrate 2 of one of predetermined substrate A and substrate B, and a thermoelectric conversion layer 5 which is disposed on a surface-treated surface of the surface-treated substrate and contains carbon nanotubes. The substrate A is obtained by subjecting a resin substrate to a surface treatment using first surface treatment agent represented by (R1)M(X). M represents Si, Ti or Zr. X represents a hydrolyzable group or a hydroxyl group. R1 represents a monovalent organic group, at least one of R1 represents a monovalent organic group containing an aromatic ring. The substrate B is obtained by subjecting a resin substrate to a surface treatment using second surface treatment agent which has a reactive group and is represented by (R2)M(X), and then to a surface treatment using third surface treatment agent having a functional group reactive with the reactive group and an aromatic ring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
