PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve preferable color reproduction, in an imaging device including an imaging section having a complementary color filter, and imaging a subject while projecting infrared light by an infrared projector.SOLUTION: When exposing a pixel corresponding to cyan in an imaging section 3, a projection control section 71 controls an infrared projector 9 to project the infrared light of wavelengths IR2, IR3. When exposing a pixel corresponding to magenta in the imaging section 3, the projection control section 71 controls the infrared projector 9 to project the infrared light of wavelengths IR1, IR3. When exposing the pixel data corresponding to yellow in the imaging section 3, the projection control section 71 controls the infrared projector 9 to project the infrared light of wavelengths IR1, IR2.
