PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality image by suppressing curling of a recording medium after sheet discharge and suppressing occurrence of roller streaks or the like of the recording medium.SOLUTION: A fixing device 20 includes a fixing belt 21, a pressure roller 22 and a nip formation member 24. The fixing device 20 includes: a fixing exit roller pair 210 composed of a drive side fixing exit roller 204 and a driven side fixing exit roller 203; and a fixing exit guide plate 205 which is rotatable, and has a first mode of conveying a sheet P in the state where the fixing exit guide plate 205 is bent in the direction reverse to the direction of curling of the sheet P in the sheet conveyance path, and a second mode of conveying the sheet P in the state where the sheet conveyance surface of the fixing exit guide plate 205 is made to be substantially vertical without bending the fixing exit guide plate 205. In the second mode, the fixing exit roller pair 210 separates from each other, and the sheet P is conveyed in a depressurized state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
