PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress affection due to snow stagnant.SOLUTION: A vehicle wiper device 10 is configured so that: when an ECU 40 detects snow stagnant on a lower inversion position LP of a wiper blade 14, the wiper blade 14 is rotated in the other side of a rotation direction with respect to the lower inversion position LP. Therefore, the snow stagnant is depressed to the other side of the rotation direction with respect to the lower inversion position LP. Therefore, the affection due to snow stagnant to actuation of the wiper blade 14 can be suppressed. In addition, since a pivot shaft 16 is coupled to an output shaft 34 of a wiper motor 32 by a link mechanism 18, a rotation torque of the pivot shaft 16 becomes higher as going to the lower inversion position LP side from an intermediate position CP. Therefore, on the lower inversion position LP where the rotation torque of the pivot shaft 16 becomes higher, the snow stagnant can be depressed to the other side of the rotation direction, with respect to the lower inversion position. Therefore, the characteristic of the rotation torque of the pivot shaft 16 can be efficiently used, for depressing snow stagnant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
