PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio controlled clock capable of efficiently acquiring necessary information related to a leap second while suppressing the increase in power consumption.SOLUTION: The radio controlled clock comprises satellite radio wave receiving means for receiving a satellite radio wave, ground wave receiving means for receiving a ground wave including date/time information, reception control means for controlling reception operation of the satellite radio wave receiving means and the ground wave receiving means, time counting means for counting a current date and time, and correction information setting means for setting leap second correction information of the date/time information acquired by the satellite radio wave receiving means. The reception control means acquires execution notice information by receiving a ground wave with which execution notice information for leap second adjustment may be transmitted, within a leap second notice period, and the correction information setting means updates the leap second correction information on the basis of the acquired execution notice information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
