PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payment system which uses an IC identification card to identify a user and searches for and verify a bank account of the user.SOLUTION: A system reads user identity information by using an IC identification card reader and sends the user identity information to an intermediary platform along with user bank account information to process them. The intermediary platform sends the received user identity information to a participating bank subsystem along with other bank transaction information as a part of a bank transaction request to process them. The participating bank subsystem conducts requested bank transaction with a user bank account determined according to user identification by either the intermediary platform or the participating bank subsystem on the basis of mapping relationship between the user identity and bank accounts. User identification information is decrypted by either the IC identification card reader or the intermediary platform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
