A lens drive device is provided with an image stabilization drive unit that includes an image stabilization magnet, an image stabilization coil, and a support for supporting an image stabilization moving part including the image stabilization magnet relative to an image stabilization fixed part including the image stabilization coil. The image stabilization drive unit performs image stabilization by causing the image stabilization moving part relative to the image stabilization fixed part to pivot in the plane orthogonal to the optical axis direction using the drive force of a voice coil motor configured from the image stabilization coil and the image stabilization magnet. The image stabilization fixed part has a base disposed apart from the image stabilization moving part in the optical axis direction. The base has a multilayer printed wiring structure comprising a laminated substrate where a plurality of insulating base materials are laminated, and a wiring pattern stereoscopically formed on the surface layer and between the layers of the laminated substrate.
