PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing an optical connection component even when a plurality of optical fibers is to be bent into small radii of curvature for reducing the height of the component.SOLUTION: The method includes: a preparation step of preparing a plurality of optical fibers 2 and a main body 3; a first fixing step of arranging the plurality of optical fibers 2 in such a manner that tips of the optical fibers 2 are aligned to a predetermined position at a tip or near the tip of the main body 3 and fixing the optical fibers to a first fixing part 31 of the main body 3; an attaching step of attaching the main body 3 with the fixed optical fibers 2 to a rotation tool; a bending step of moving the optical fibers 2 in an axial direction after the attaching step and bending a predetermined region in accordance with the movement while heating to form a processed part 23; and a detaching step of detaching the processed main body 3 from the first fixing part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
