Provided is a speech recognition device capable of providing highly accurate recognition. The speech recognition device is provided with a storage unit, a speech recognition unit, and a rejection information generation unit. The storage unit stores rejection information used for the identification of speech. The speech recognition unit recognizes an input speech as a target word under a condition where the similarity between the speech identified by the rejection information and the input speech is lower than a predetermined threshold. When the speech recognition unit recognizes the input speech as the target word in a prescribed condition, the rejection information generation unit determines the rejection information on the basis of the input speech, and stores the rejection information in the storage unit.
