A terminal connector (1) used when inserting and connecting a terminal section (3) of a flat cable (2) to a connector (4) for a connection partner, and comprising: a mounting surface (11) to which the terminal section (3) of the flat cable (2) is mounted; and a pair of locking sections (13) protruding from the mounting surface (11) and which lock to a pair of locking openings (26) formed in the terminal section (3) of the flat cable (2). The pair of locking sections (13) comprise: an elastically deformable arm (43) standing upright from a bottom section (42) of a hollowed-out section (41) formed recessed in the mounting surface (11) and protruding further than the mounting surface (11); a reverse protrusion (44) formed in the tip section of the arm (43) so as to be lockable to an edge section (27) of a locking openings (26) in the flat cable (2); and a main wall (51a) positioned on the rear surface side of the arm (43) of the reverse protrusion (44), protruding further than the mounting surface (11), and formed at a position so as to be capable of being inserted into the locking openings (26). |
