PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a change in the vibration characteristics of a soundboard even when this keyboard instrument is configured to excite a soundboard.SOLUTION: An excitation part 50 includes: a vibration part 51 connected to a soundboard 7; and a yoke holding part 52 supported by a support part 55. The vibration part 51 includes a voice coil 512 arranged so as to be positioned at a magnetic path formed of yokes 521 and 523 and a magnet 522 installed in the yoke holding part 52, and the vibration part 51 vibrates in accordance with a driving signal to be input to the voice coil 512, and excites the soundboard 7. Any load other than that of the vibration part 51 which vibrates in accordance with the driving signal in the excitation part 50 is supported by the support part 55 so that the vibration characteristics of the soundboard 7 can be hardly affected by the excitation part 50. |
