PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a medium input/output device.SOLUTION: The medium input/output device comprises: a payment port shutter 26 that is disposed inside a coin payment port 23 and moves from a closed position to an opening position in a movable direction substantially along the surface direction; a support section 27 that moves in the movable direction together with the payment port shutter 26 to move the payment port shutter 26 in the opening direction and the closed direction; and a drive section 25 that is disposed so that the drive section 25 does not move in the movable direction over a part of a movable range RM, and supports and moves the support section 27. Here, the movable range RM is a range in which an opening-direction end of the payment port shutter 26 moves when the payment port shutter 26 moves from the closed position to the opening position inside the coin payment port 23. |
