PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly polish a game ball, and to improve maintenance properties for polishing of a large number of balls.SOLUTION: A ball polishing apparatus includes: a spiral shaft 173A that has a spiral body 173G at an outer peripheral part and is provided at a front side of a front frame body 130 of an enclosed ball type game machine 100; and a cassette 175 that includes an endless polishing cloth 179 disposed while sandwiching the spiral shaft 173A and a game ball P, and a polishing cloth feed mechanism 177 for feeding the polishing cloth 179, and is a transparent body configured so as to be attachable to or detachable from the spiral shaft 173A so that the spiral shaft 173A is covered from the front side of the front frame body 130 of the enclosed ball type game machine 100 excluding the lower end and the upper end of the spiral shaft 173A. A polishing-raising unit 171 is configured so as to drive the spiral shaft 173A, introduce the game ball P from a lower end of the spiral shaft 173A by operation of the spiral body 173G, carry it in an axial direction, and discharge it from an upper end, and polish the game ball P by the polishing cloth 179 between the lower end and the upper end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
