PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which prevents the occurrence of binding errors, missing pages, or other mismatches when copying a sheet document.SOLUTION: The copier 500 comprises: recognition units (51, 52) which generate read data by optically reading the sheet document to be copied and recognize a content included in the sheet document; a retrieval unit 54 which retrieves original data of the sheet document including the content from electronic files stored in a predetermined storage apparatus; and a detection unit 54 which, in advance of output based on the read data, compares the read data with the original data to detect mismatch of the sheet document with respect to the original data. |
