PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous polyester resin that achieves high glass transition temperature and also simultaneously achieves resistance to moist heat, hardness, and adhesion when made into a coated film regardless of using a biomass raw material, and to provide a resin composition for coating using the same.SOLUTION: A copolymerized polyester resin mainly includes a dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component, wherein the copolymerized polyester resin includes 30 mol% or more of naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and 25 mol% or more of azelaic acid, assuming that the total of polycarboxylic acid components constituting the copolymerized polyester is 100 mol%. The resin composition for coating includes the copolymerized polyester resin. |
