PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taking-up core and a taking-up method for a conveyer belt which allow a stable and smooth taking-up operation in taking up a conveyer belt in such a way that both ends in the longitudinal direction of the conveyer belt are located on the outer peripheral side.SOLUTION: A taking-up core 1 comprises a small-diameter core material 2 and a large-diameter core material 3 having a through hole, arranged at an interval, a connection member 4A connecting together the core materials 2 and 3 while keeping the relative positional relationship of the mutually adjacent axial direction ends of the core materials 2 and 3 in an invariable state and a shaft hole 5A formed in the connection member 4A, with the through hole and the shaft hole 5A arranged eccentrically on the side of the small-diameter core material 2 with respect to the axial center of the large-diameter core material 3. By using the taking-up core 1, the central part CB1 in the longitudinal direction of a conveyer belt CB is laid on only one of the core materials, and the taking-up core 1 is rotated around a shaft SH inserted into the through hole and the shaft hole 5A so as to take up the conveyer belt CB around the outer periphery of the taking-up core 1 in such a way that one end side part CB2 and the other end side part CB3 of the conveyer belt CB are laminated. |
