The transponder arrangement has a flexible support element (4) that is provided with a transponder device (2) which comprises an antenna structure (6). The transponder receptacle elements (12-1-12-3) are provided for enclosing flexible support element. The transponder receptacle element and flexible support element are formed in specific shape such that flexible support element is arranged within the transponder receptacle element. The transponder receptacle element is provided with an extension element. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing transponder arrangement.
