In an electric compressor, flexibility in handling of housing members is enhanced and an additional long length of a lead wire of a stator does not need to be secured.
[Solving Means] In an electric compressor 1 driven by a shaft 10 rotatably supported in a housing 2; and an axial gap type motor 3 housed in the housing 2, and including a rotor 20 fixed to the shaft 10, and a first stator 21 and a second stator 22 arranged at both axial end surfaces of the rotor 20 so as to oppose each other via air gaps interposed therebetween, the housing 2 is configured to have the first housing member 5 to which a first stator 21 is fixed and the second housing member 6 to which a second stator 22 is fixed, and the first stator 21 and the second stator 22 have independent lead wires 26, 27, and the respective lead wires 26, 27 are electrically coupled to each other in an interior of the housing 2. |
