PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which can exhibit excellent sealing performance without causing static leakage even if a screw part is arranged on an axial end face of a slinger with which an end face lip is slidably brought into close contact.SOLUTION: A sealing fluid is sealed by the slidable close contact of the end face lip with an axial end face of a slinger which is fixed to an external periphery of a rotating shaft and rotates together with the rotating shaft, and a screw part arranged on the axial end face of the slinger exhibits pumping action during the rotation to seal the sealing fluid. The slinger has a screw-part non-existing region in which the screw part is not formed on the external peripheral side of a screw-part formed region in which the screw part is formed. The end face lip is slidably brought into close contact with the screw-part formed region at its lip end, and a lip end of an auxiliary lip integrally formed at a tip of the end face lip is slidably brought into close contact with the screw-part non-existing region. |
