PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool management method capable of easily confirming a type of a tool such as a grinding wheel mounted on a machining device such as a grinding device.SOLUTION: A method is provided for management of a tool mounted to a machining device. A seal for displaying a type of the tool is detachably attached to the tool or a tool case containing the tool. When mounting the tool in the machining device, a seal detachment step of peeling off the seal from the tool or the tool case containing the tool and attaching the seal on a visible part of the machining device is performed. When removing the tool from the machining device and containing it in the tool case, a seal re-attachment step of peeling off the seal attached on the visible part of the machining device and re-attaching the seal on the tool or the tool case containing the tool is performed. |
