PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating applicator which inhibits air bubbles from mixing into a storage chamber where a coating material is stored.SOLUTION: A plunger pump 20 discharges a coating material 90 to a workpiece 91 and comprises: a cylinder 21; a plunger 22 which reciprocates in the cylinder 21; and a servo mechanism 23 which reciprocates the plunger 22 in an axial direction. When the coating material 90 is supplied to a pump chamber 26 by a supply tank 30 and a supply valve 40, the servo mechanism 23 is controlled by a controller 80 so that a difference between an internal pressure and the atmospheric pressure, which is measured by a pressure sensor 60, becomes small. |
