PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make maximum use of dust collecting performance and effectively use an installation space by suppressing the height.SOLUTION: A rotating electrode type electric dust collector includes: a plurality of rotating electrode plates 12 rotatable via a central shaft 11; a plurality of fixed electrode plates 13 interposed between the rotating electrode plates 12 while predetermined voltage is applied; a blower making dust-containing air forcedly pass between the rotating electrode plates 12 and the fixed electrode plates 13; an annular band body 16 wound between the central shaft 11 and an outer peripheral shaft 14 disposed outside the rotating electrode plates 13 to correspond to the fixed electrode plates 13 and rotatable along with rotation of the rotating electrode plates 13; a suction dust removing body 15 installed between the central shaft 11 and the outer peripheral shaft 14 so as to come into contact with or closer to the rotating electrode plates 12; and a carrying dust removing body 17 installed near the outer peripheral shaft 11 to come into contact with the annular band body 16. |
