Method for identifying emitters by a terminal in an iso-frequency network

The method involves acquiring approximate position of terminal (100) corresponding to position acquired by global positioning system, position of list of emitters in vicinity of the terminal and retard delays of the emitters. Pseudo-distances between one of the emitters and the terminal are measured (101), and the pseudo-distance measurements are associated (102) to the emitters with known positions by minimizing a cost function, where the function corresponds to error between one of the measurements and a pseudo-distances measurement model applied to permutation of position of the emitters. An independent claim is also included for a telecommunication terminal, comprising units for implementing a method for identifying emitters.
