PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which can efficiently and economically remove carbon deposited on an oven wall inside a raw material charge port of a coke oven.SOLUTION: Deposit carbon is removed from an oven wall by mechanical impact after jetting water to the deposit carbon on the inner wall of a raw material charge port together with high-pressure air, or first jetting high-pressure air to the deposit carbon to burn the deposit carbon and then jetting water together with the high-pressure air, thereby reforming the deposit carbon to a brittle state. |
