摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the drop of a brake force of a vehicle caused by temporary non-transmission of the brake force of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine as a driving force to a drive wheel side, and effectively alleviate occurrence of vibration or noise (shock) when switching shift stages in a transmission.SOLUTION: A controller of a hybrid vehicle carries out a first control and a second control. The first control comprises the steps of: replacing, when changeover of a shift stage gear is requested, a brake force output D2 from a power source (motor 3) to an output shaft with a brake force output P2 from a brake 37 to the output shaft; switching the shift stage gears while temporarily releasing engagement of a clutch C1 after the replacement of the bake force output; and replacing, after switching the shift stage gears, a brake force output P4 from the brake 37 to the output shaft with a brake force output D1 from the power source to the output shaft. The second control comprises the step of adding a predetermined correction amount P3 to the brake force from the brake 37 to the output shaft while releasing engagement of the clutch C1.
