There are provided systems and methods for contextually aware billboard display devices using wireless beacon device communications. A service provider may utilize one or more wireless notifications at or nearby a location to connect with a communication device of a user as the user moves into proximity of the wireless beacon's short range wireless communications at or nearby the location. Once connected, the wireless beacon may provide an identifier for the user to the service provider. The service provider may utilize context information for the location to determine needs or interests of the user and/or a vehicle for the user. The service provider may generate a notification, such as an advertisement, that may be communicated to the user through billboards that the user may pass. The notifications may be for car maintenance conditions or vehicle user requirements. The notifications may also be for nearby merchants and available items. |
