The invention relates to a method for deicing a heat exchanger (124), which is designed as an air/refrigerant or air/coolant heat exchanger, of an air-conditioning device of a motor vehicle (10). An air flow (20, 22; 16) flows through the heat exchanger during an operating interval in which the heat exchanger is operated at operating temperatures below 0 °C, said air flow being subsequently conducted into a passenger compartment (14), wherein icing forms on the outer surface of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is operated at operating temperatures above 0 °C during a subsequent deicing interval, and the air flow (20, 22; 16) flows through the heat exchanger such that the icing is at least partly defrosted. The invention is characterized in that an air flow origin adjusting means (18) is operated in a fresh air position during the deicing interval, the air flow (20; 16) being largely transported out of the passenger compartment (14) in a recirculation position of the adjusting means and out of the vehicle surroundings in the fresh air position of the adjusting means. |
