PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission shaft, in which a power transmission shaft body and a connection member such as a stub yoke are easily coupled, and a manufacturing method of the power transmission shaft.SOLUTION: A power transmission shaft 1 for transmitting power comprises: a power transmission shaft body 10 made of an FRTP; and a stub yoke 20 or a member to be connected to another power transmission member and jointed to a front end part 11 of the power transmission shaft body 10.
