PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver capable of automatically setting of a threshold to identify the transmission signal of a pulse OOK signal, to enable accurate discrimination of a transmission signal.SOLUTION: A radio receiver 1 includes: a terminal 5a which transmits a signal; a detection unit 11 which outputs sampling data of the discrete value of a detection output voltage obtained by detecting a received signal; a noise estimation unit 12 which calculates an average of the sampling data to estimate a noise level; a threshold set unit 13 which sets the threshold using the noise level; a coding unit 14 which converts the sampling data into a large/small 2-level symbol using the threshold; a maximum value detection unit 15 which detects the maximum value of a plurality of sampling data before and after the detection of the large symbol out of the large/small symbol; and a synchronization code detection unit 16 which starts the detection of the synchronization code from the start point of the code corresponding to the sampling data in which the maximum value is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
