摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic levitation type brake motor.SOLUTION: A magnetic levitation type brake motor is applied to an electric screwdriver. A magnetic levitation clutch 2 is coupled to a motor 1 for outputting power. Current at the startup time of the motor is reduced by the interaction of the same-poles repel and opposite-poles attraction at the operation time of the magnetic levitation clutch. The motor has a small inertia moment and frictional force. Heat generation and damage to control the driving current of the motor is reduced. Accordingly, on the operation, the magnetic levitation clutch rotates after starting up while following the motor, thereby increasing the inertia moment, and also kinetic energy is accumulated. When encountering a load, the rotation speed of the magnetic levitation clutch is reduced, and the kinetic energy is released, so that the torque is increased. When the torque is preset, the motor stops its rotation, and the magnetic levitation clutch sustains its rotation by the inertia moment. However, magnetic resistance occurring by the action of magnetic poles gradually stops, and thus the reaction force when the clutch is stopped is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
