PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an ink composition which has high color developability even on plain paper, is quickly dried even on a non-hardly absorbing recording material and does not cause mottling; an inkjet recording method; and a colored body.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink composition which comPrises a compound represented by the formula (1), a colorant, a penetrant selected from an alkane diol and a glycol ether, silicon and a surfactant selected from fluorine surfactants.
