PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination method capable of evenly cleaning the inside of a membrane module by an inexpensive and simple method, a cleaning method of a desalination apparatus, and a desalination apparatus.SOLUTION: A desalination method includes: a desalination process S101 of supplying a membrane module 3, which houses a reverse osmosis membrane element 20 equipped with a spacer 25, with raw water to obtain concentrated water and permeated water; and cleaning processes S104 to S105 of cleaning the membrane module 3. The cleaning processes S104 to S105 include: a forward direction cleaning process S104 of supplying a cleaning chemical solution from a raw water supply port 33 of the membrane module 3 and discharging cleaning chemical solution containing contaminants, which reside in the membrane module 3, from a concentrated water discharge port 35 of the membrane module 3; and a reverse direction cleaning process S105 of supplying the cleaning chemical solution from the concentrated water discharge port 35 and discharging the cleaning chemical solution containing contaminants, which reside in the membrane module 3 from the raw water supply port 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
