PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce instantaneous current consumption when performing a light emission control of a plurality of linear light sources in a time division light emission in which light-emitting devices included in the linear light source are divided into plural groups and light emission for one line is performed at a different timing by each group.SOLUTION: An optical writing control apparatus includes an optical writing control part 201 configured to perform a light emission control of an LEDA print head 130, expose a photoreceptor drum 109 and perform a neutralization process. At the light emission control of the LEDA print head 130 in the neutralization process, part of a plurality of LED devices is set in a light-off state, and light emission time in one light emission control is set longer than a light emission time at a light emission control for forming an electrostatic latent image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
