PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of stably suppressing density unevenness in the rotation direction of a photoreceptor drum in an image while suppressing reduction in productivity.SOLUTION: A color printer comprises: a photoreceptor drum; an optical scan device (exposure device) which exposes a surface of the photoreceptor drum by driving a light source and forms a latent image on the surface; a developing roller (developing device) for developing the latent image; and a density detector for detecting a density variation in the rotation direction (sub-scan direction) of the photoreceptor drum in the image developed by the developing roller. The optical scan device comprises a processing unit which can correct a drive signal (a light emission amount of the light source) for driving the light source on the basis of an output signal of the density detector, and adjust a correction cycle of correction data (light amount correction data) by a rotation cycle of the photoreceptor drum of the drive signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
