PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeat correction processing smoothly, without degrading an image.SOLUTION: In the second and subsequent curvature correction, a CPU17 displays a processing image subjected to curvature correction, and a rectangular mesh image superposed thereon in a display 14. A user stretches the shape of a mesh image from an operation unit (touch panel) 15 by touch operation and matches to the shape of the curved processing image. A CPU17 creates a map table for conversion representative of the coordinates of pixels constituting an image after curvature correction, according to the shape of the mesh image, updates the coordinates represented by a recording map table used in the previous curvature correction, based on the coordinates represented by a conversion map table, and performs curvature correction for the original image, by using the updated recording map table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
