PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which quickly performs preview display of a print job without requiring a storage device with a large capacity, and reuses image data displayed in preview when print setting for changing the layout is performed.SOLUTION: A printer stores print jobs including print attributes (S501), displays a list of print jobs (S502), when preview display is instructed for the print job selected from the list of print jobs (Yes in S503), calculates a logical page corresponding to a physical page of the print job displayed in preview on the basis of the print attribute of the print job (S506), generates image data of the logical page (S508), generates image data of the physical page for preview display on the basis of the image data of the logical page and the print attribute (S510), and performs preview display of the selected print job on the basis of the image data of the physical page (S511).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
