PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for using vibrations occurring in response to the operation of a user to specify the desired information of the user as inputted information easily with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An information acceptance system 1 for accepting input information in response to the operation of a user comprises: an operation unit in which an operation surface, adjusted so as to generate a characteristic index vibration by a touch of an object, is formed; a storage device 11 for storing candidate information that can be a candidate for input information 114 in association with an index vibration as a database 111; microphones 15, 16, 17, 18 for observing actual vibrations occurring in an ambient environment while acquiring the observation result as observation information 112; and a selection unit 100 for determining whether an index vibration exists in the acquired observation information 112, and, when it is determined that an index vibration exists, selecting the candidate information associated with the index vibration as input information 114.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
