PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which makes cross talk less likely to occur, and to provide a recording device using the liquid discharge head.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a passage member 4 having discharge holes 8, compression chambers 10 respectively connected with the discharge holes 8, a first common passage 20 which recovers a liquid from the compression chambers 10, and first individual passages 12 respectively connecting the first common passage 20 with the compression chambers 10; and compression parts 50 which respectively compress the compression chambers 10.
