The present invention addresses the problem of providing a filter material for an air filter, the filter material having heat-expandable particles that impart to the filter material for an air filter excellent flame resistance, with the addition of only a small amount of the particles, and having excellent flame resistance and low pressure-loss. The present invention is a filter material for an air filter, the filter material having multiple laminated fiber sheets, and at least one interlayer from among interlayers of the adjacent fiber sheets contains heat-expandable particles and a binder. |
