PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode excellent in high temperature characteristics, without causing deterioration in positive electrode active material capacity even when an aqueous binder is used; a lithium ion secondary battery including the positive electrode; and an electrical apparatus using the secondary battery.SOLUTION: In a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode, an aqueous binder and an active material including a compound represented by compositional formula 1 on a particle surface are used. The compositional formula 1 is represented as LiMO(in the formula, M represents one or two or more of metal elements selected from the group consisting of Al, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ag, Ta, W and Ir, and 0≤α≤6, 1≤&bgr;≤5 and 0<γ≤12 are satisfied.) |
