PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery system preventing deterioration in energy density by preventing lithium from being precipitated in a negative electrode.SOLUTION: A secondary battery system includes: a secondary battery 2; a temperature sensor 4 measuring the temperature of the secondary battery 2; and a control section 7 controlling such that a voltage of the secondary battery 2 during charging is less than an upper limit voltage with an increase in temperature of the secondary battery 2 measured by the temperature sensor 4. The control section 7 stores corresponding information including the relationship between the temperature and the upper limit voltage of the secondary battery 2 for making a value of negative electrode capacity/positive electrode capacity larger than 1, and controls such that a voltage of the secondary battery 2 is less than the upper limit voltage, on the basis of the corresponding information. |
