PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stream transmission device, a stream transmission method, and a stream transmission program which can prevent an increase in delay time before a program is reproduced in a receiving side device in which packet restoration processing cannot be executed until reception of some range of packets is completed after a stream including program information is received.SOLUTION: A distribution device 20 includes an FEC packet generation unit 25 which transmits a stream of information on one or a plurality of programs divided into a plurality of packets, prepares a reproduction object packet and a control packet including control information necessary to reproduce the reproduction object packet together as one or a plurality of source blocks, generates on the basis of the source block a restoration packet to be used in the receiving side device to restore the source block, and finds the control packet from the plurality of packets, and determines a termination packet of the source block on the basis of the found result. |
