PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information appliance which can automatically and securely switch a photographing function and other functions and to provide a control method and a program of the information appliance.SOLUTION: A control method of an information appliance having a photographing function and other functions includes: an imaging step (S4) for converting an image which a lens forms into an image signal; determination/selection steps (S5, S7 and S8) for determining a situation of a subject in response to the image signal and selecting one of the photographing function and the other functions in accordance with the determination; and control steps (S11, S15, S21 and S41) for performing operation corresponding to the function selected in the determination/selection steps. |
