PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug member for sealing a trough-hole such as a steam drain hole formed in a concrete-filled steel tube (CFT), the plug member being firmly attached to the through-hole not to be removed from it during filling the steel tube with concrete and nevertheless can be easily removed from it when having to be removed.SOLUTION: A plug member is inserted into a through-hole formed in a steel tube related to a concrete-filled steel tube to seal the through-hole. The plug member comprises: a shaft member having a head with a larger diameter of that of a shank at one end side in the axial direction of the through-hole; an elastic cylindrical member having an inner peripheral side into which the shank is inserted, and elastically deformed and expandable in the radial direction according to a compressive deformation amount applied to the axial direction; and an annular member having an inner peripheral side into which the shank is inserted, and locked to the shank such that a relative position in the axial direction with respect to the shank can be changed. The elastic cylindrical member is pinched and pressed in the axial direction between the head and the annular member, so that the compressive deformation amount is applied to the elastic cylindrical member. |
