Cable holder

The holder has guide sections (21, 23) for guiding a cable for a change in direction of a run of the cable, where the cable comprises an electrical conductor or a fiber-optic cable. The guide sections contain an articulated joint for changing the direction of the run of the cable. The guide section is detachably connected to an electrical component of a domestic appliance with a snap-lock connection. A handle is provided for pivotally actuating an appliance door (1). Pre-assembling cables are provided on the cable holder. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a household appliance.
