PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection characteristic detecting device capable of correcting a model of a supply pulsation waveform in accordance with characteristics of hardware, and capable of extracting a fluctuation waveform of fuel pressure caused by injection with the usage of the corrected model.SOLUTION: An injection time sensor waveform W showing pressure fluctuation during fuel injection is acquired, and a pressure feed waveform Wp showing pressure fluctuation in association with pressure feed of fuel by a fuel pump 41 is acquired. A supply pulsation waveform model Wm occurring by supplying the fuel to a fuel injection valve 10 from a common rail 42 accompanied by fuel injection is calculated, and based on the acquired pressure feed waveform Wp, the supply pulsation waveform model Wm is corrected, and a supply pulsation waveform correction model Wm' is calculated. The supply pulsation correction model Wm' is subtracted from the injection time sensor waveform W, and an injection time waveform W' showing the pressure fluctuation of the fuel caused by injection is extracted. |
